Making Chicken Wrap sandwiches is a great use for leftover chicken. You’ll have most of the ingredients on hand and ready to use- and the best part is that substitution is king, so experiment with ingredients that you do have at home! Chicken breasts or leftover rotisserie chicken work best for this wrap, but any of the meat from a chicken will work.
Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap
Wraps are easy to make because all you have to do is lay out all the ingredients and roll up the tortilla. Just make sure you place all the ingredients in a long row in the middle of your tortilla- this will make rolling it up so much easier.
To create the wrapped tortilla effect: Roll up tortilla by slightly folding in sides towards the center as you fold the side nearest you upwards toward the top of the tortilla. Roll wrap away from you keeping all of the inside fillings tight. Slice wrap in half and serve.
Pick and choose the ingredients that work best for you and your family. If you love bacon, try adding another slice, or maybe try using a black pepper bacon. My favorite butcher, Schmidt’s Meat Market, has a nice Chipotle-Raspberry Bacon that I absolutely love in this wrap.
Pack up several of these wraps for a picnic. Bring along your favorite fruit and chips and you’ll have a full meal without much work!
Wraps can be made one night in advance, if stored in refrigerator lightly wrapped.
