It’s New Year’s Eve, drinks and appetizers are king of the night, so why not make yours stand out with a little heat!
This is an easy to make-ahead recipe so you can celebrate without stress. Spicy Sautéed Shrimp recipe (below) can be made earlier in the day and then popped in the fridge while you make everything else. Shrimp Cocktails are always better served cold.

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. Butter
- 20 Frozen Shrimp de-veined and peeled
- 1 Garlic Clove minced
- 1 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions
- Defrost shrimp in a bowl of cool water. When defrosted mix Cayenne Pepper and Red Pepper Flakes in with the shrimp
- Melt the butter in a pan and add garlic. Once heated add shrimp in batches so that there is only one layer. Sauté until cooked through- turning shrimp once. Repeat with second batch. Serve warm

- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 dash Cayenne Pepper or to taste
- 1 dash Old Bay Seasoning
