Fruit smoothies are a morning favorite, especially when the weather is hot and humid like it has been of late. Plus you can make them in a simple blender and with very few ingredients.
Raspberry-Banana Smoothie
Into a standard blender combine one ripe banana with frozen raspberries to make sure that your drink is chilled. Wild raspberries are fabulous and will give the drink it’s deep red color, but cultivated raspberries are equally delicious. Add the milk and pulse away. It takes about 5 minutes from start (peeling your banana) to finish (taking your first sip) so there’s no reason not to make one right away!

Instructions
- In a blender combine milk, frozen raspberries and banana chunks. Pulse the blender 5 times or until everything has been blended together. Serve while still frozen.
