Exciting Recognition

I have been incredibly honored this past week to receive notice of winning two different photo contests.

The first is for the photo contest hosted by Visit Mankato to help promote their beautiful city. The photos are being converted into postcards that will be part of a packet about the area. I love promoting my home town and was happy to have two photos chosen- including the one shown above which is a photo of the doorway to the Carnegie Art Center in downtown Mankato.

The second is that I received notice of being selected as a published photographer for the Capture Minnesota III book. As you’ll recall 3 of my photos were selected last year for the Capture Minnesota II book and am absolutely thrilled to be published for a second year in a row! I won’t know until Saturday which image(s) was chosen, but you can see all the winning photographers here.
