Growing up we would all pile into the car in the evenings of December to drive up and down streets upon streets in my home town, just oohing and aching over the Christmas light displays- even driving by our favorites a second and third time. There’s something so magical about the twinkling lights cutting their way through the cold night air and maybe reflecting a bit off of the snow.
Christmas light displays are easily a family favorite activity this time of year; from our five month old, who is positively enchanted by anything bright, to his grandparents, who I swear decrease in age by 30 years as they share the lights with us! With free light display events across the state it’s more fun than ever to enjoy the Christmas lights. This list of the top Christmas light displays in Minnesota is in no particular order.
