Remember going to the petting zoo when you were younger and the joy and excitement about getting to see the baby animals. Maybe even getting to pet them? Well that’s me. Every day.
My favorite part of being a farm photographer is the animals. I’m pretty much still a child at heart when it comes to any baby. The Mangalitsa piglets I got to photograph on the Old World Meats LLC boutique pork farm in Southern Minnesota were such a treat to visit. Running free, eating with the other animals on the farm and just enjoying life. Here are just a few snippets to make your Friday great.
Even the mama sow got up to check out what all the excitement was about. Notice her beautiful curly hair- that’s a trademark characteristic of the Mangalitsa hog.
