Spring Abounds in the Midwest

Fallen Magnolia Blossoms

Magnolias- the symbol of Spring

The theme of this Midwestern road trip is Spring. In Minnesota and Iowa there was still snow on the ground, but by Missouri there was lush, green grass and lots and lots of beautiful Spring blossoms- the Magnolia tress blossoms are just ending and the Redbud tree blossoms are just starting to pop out. I love the colorful cycle of the seasons.

Oh my goodness! I love everything about the 2nd image! The house, the magnolia tree and the very cool tree to the right! Great capture!

Ah, Thanks!! I thought it was pretty sweet too- plus the sun was starting to set so the light was so nice. I may have taken more photos that I needed to while I was strolling through… :-)
