Oklahoma: Where the Shopping Cart was Invented

Gorgeous Red Soil of OklahomaDriving through Oklahoma on I-44 there is a pretty cool ad campaign about this great pan-handle state. Through it I learned that Oklahoma is where the shopping cart was invented. Cool, right? It’s a great way for Oklahoma to brag up their accomplishments (all while toll road-ing you to death (or at least your change supply)).

A beautiful state with gorgeous red soil that shines through as the harsh sun hits it. Home to rolling hills without a lot of trees and of lots dry red, red soil. Wide open spaces is what you will see in this state. Miles and miles of space with a few homes, ranches and cars thrown in from time to time.
