Black Friday Free Admission at MN State Parks

Free Admission to Minnesota State Parks on black friday to celebrate the holiday season and as a Thanksgiving thank you

Time to start planning your Thanksgiving weekend by taking advantage of Black Friday free admission (or Free Park Friday). All 67 of Minnesota’s state parks will be free to enter on Black Friday– November 25, 2016.

Instead of going out shopping you can now spend the day enjoying nature in all her glory- rain or shine!

5 Ways to Enjoy Black Friday Free Admission

Maple trees at Forestville State Park

  1. Go in search of buffalo at Blue Mounds State Park.

  2. See how many waterfalls you can see in a day by checking out the falls at Minneopa, Nerstrand-Big Woods, Judge C. Magney, Gooseberry Falls or Grand Portage State Parks (among others).

  3. Climb to the top of the bluff at John A. Latsch State Park to check out the views.

  4. Join the ‘hiking club‘ and walk the 3-mile loop at Fort Snelling State Park.

  5. Climb one of the four observation towers located at Mille Lacs Kathio, Itasca, St. Croix, and Whitewater state parks.

Or choose your own adventure and make it grand!

While you’re enjoying the great outdoors the park service wants to see your shots so use the hashtag: #FreeParkFriday to commemorate it.
